With low maintenance landscaping, there is not much left to do besides sit besides the pool with a drink and take in the scenery!
We were able to design this rectangular pool with an "L" shaped entry and full width steps to truly utilize every inch of their property. This family will enjoy their new outdoor living space for many years to come!
The landscape was designed with a heavy Cape Cod influence, highlighting perennial grasses, hydrangeas, and perennials in the lavender family. The project included both pavers, granite, and natural stone, which led to a very modern but elegant appearance.
For this project we worked with the builder on a new construction home, as well as the installation of a fiberglass pool. This was a complete property design which included grading, drainage, sod, planting, and of course the hardscape. With over 40,000 sq ft of sod and 3,000 sq ft of patio space, this landscape truly completed this beautiful new home build.

Traditional Landscaping transformed this tiny Niskayuna backyard into a beautiful outdoor entertainment area by installing a hardscape patio surrounding a pool with waterfall, outdoor lighting, fire pit, and an outdoor dining area with grill.
At Traditional Landscaping, we were able to design and install this landscape for an existing client with a large annual section to show off some seasonal color. With the hedging of evergreens we were able to instantly create a mature look, complimenting the traditional look of their home.
Here we installed a pool coping and pool deck on a new pool. We were able to create a more modern look with a natural bluestone coping, really setting off the rectangular pool. This pool patio also featured landscape lighting and plantings.
We rehabbed an existing pool space with a hardscape overhaul. This included a new full-range bluestone pool deck, water feature, lighting, and landscape. We were also able to solve a drainage issue that had been created from the original pool installation.
This job featured a large patio and staircases off of the back of the house. We installed a pergola and an outdoor kitchen complete with a grill, sink and fridge. Lastly, we finished the job with landscape lighting and landscaping.
